What is an appropriate response to someone saying "merci" in French?

We say “Pas de problème” (No problem) in casual responses.

We say “Il n’y a pas de quoi" (Don’t mention it) in casual responses.

We say "De rien" (It’s nothing) in casual responses.

How do the Sola Scrptura folks react to the Dead Sea Scrolls and other more recent discoveries of ancient Biblical texts not among those canonized by Martin Luther?

We say "Avec plaisir" (With pleasure) in formal responses

When someone says “merci” we says

We say “Je vous en prie" (You’re welcome) in formal responses

I think that being gay is wrong, but I treat gay people respectfully like any other person. Is it homophobic? Or offensive in any kind of way? Aren’t disagreement and discrimination two different things?
